I'll Never Understand

I thought we were something or at least going to be something. Was it me that took too long? Was it me who was vulnerable to think that you'd wait? Was it you that couldn't wait? Was it you who said things you didn't mean? Was it you who was tired of waiting? Or was it both of us who didn't have the guts to show each other our true feelings? I just don't understand what happened between us, it's something that will stay with me forever as I still have not forgotten anything from the past years..
